Understanding Chakra Balancing through Imbalanced Chakras
This post is devised to help our readers understand the Chakra Balancing in detail and in light of physical and emotional imbalances. The word imbalanced chakra is quite intriguing and curious in itself. Chakra literally means wheel and we all know the importance of wheel balancing in any of its use.
Chakras in a human body are defined as the energy centers in a body. There are 7 main chakras aka energy centers in the body. These chakras are located in such a way that each chakra has its own significance pertaining to our mental and emotional health. At the same time the chakras in body exist in a manner that each one correlates to specific body organs and functions.
Be it the negative energy, physical issues, weaknesses or fears etc., all our emotions are linked to being weak or not approachable. The issue that is centrally responsible for these mind-body phenomenon is related to clearing of the energy. This clearing of energy is often called popularly as Chakra Balancing, Chakra charging etc.
Let us understand the Body Chakras and the symptoms of Chakra Imbalances:
Root Chakra holds the significance of self-preservation. It explains the right to exist, survive and protect one’s own existence. The root chakra imbalance is understood through emotional imbalance, loneliness, disconnect etc.
Emotional Imbalances in root chakra are on a rise these days. The everyday survival rush or urbane life, money, EMIs, work stress which is about life necessities of food, money and shelter are understood as root chakra disorder.
Sacral Chakra is the chakra just above the root chakra. The imbalances of sacral chakra are physical and emotional both.
The lack of commitment, expression, lacking creative abilities, creativity etc., are the signs of emotional imbalances. Many people also face fears and phobias leading to severe and extreme behaviors like addiction etc.
Physical signs of imbalance in root chakra includes problems related to urinary and kidney dysfunctions, reproductive issues, pelvic and lower back related problems.
Balanced Sacral Chakra signifies creative ability, higher risk taking abilities, smarter commitments etc.
Solar Plexus Chakra
Solar Plexus Chakra is associated with digestive system. The imbalances related to digestive system, liver, high BP, diabetes etc., are physical signs suggesting the need of chakra balancing.
Emotionally a person lacks the power, fails in decision making, drops in self-esteem. Many a times Solar Chakra imbalance leads to fears of rejection, criticism and dejection.
Like the name suggests, this chakra is located in our hearts.
But this is not all about love, imbalance in heart chakra leads to extreme emotions, overwhelming love leading to suffocating relationships and even stronger feelings like that of suffocation, jealousy, anger, bitterness etc.
Balanced heart chakra however is all about the positive emotions of joy, gratitude, love and contentment. This chakra also leads to forgiveness and trust towards others.
The physical imbalances are often diagnosed through upper back problems, asthma and hearth diseases.
Centered in our throat, this chakra governs the communication and the ability to think, express and share our thoughts. Emotionally throat chakra is also about mature decisions, sensible communication, independence etc.
Clear thoughts, communication and honest conversations are suggestive of balanced throat chakra.
However physical imbalances of throat chakra could be health issues related to throat, neck, sense organs, shoulders etc.
Third Eye Chakra
Center of our forehead, the middle of eyebrows is the third eye chakra. Popular name of third eye chakra is divine vision in which the chakra leads us to. It is the source of inner guidance and clear intuitions.
The imbalances lead to self-reflection and thereby anxiety, mood swings, fears are the results. Physical imbalances are those related to our sense organs.
Therapists say this chakra leads to bigger horizons.
Crown chakra is located on the top of our head and signifies mindfulness. This chakra symbolizes mindful living. You must have heard ‘one step at a moment’, that summarizes the crown chakra.
Imbalance of crown chakra leads to depression, difficulty in learning & adopting new things and love for dark. Emotional imbalances are largely around extreme behaviors and beliefs, this could be around constant anxiety, confusions, prejudiced thoughts etc.
A balanced crown chakra is significant for your mental well-being and thereby good health.
